The College Success Factors Index (CSFI) is an instrument
containing
80 self scoring statements related to the more affective characteristics
of
student success such as personality, values, and cultural traits.
The CSFI was developed by Mr. Edmond Hallberg, Ed. D., in 1993. It is
an 80 item
questionnaire that measures eight factors related to student success.
The CSFI has
been used in over 70 colleges over the years has been administered to
over 60,000 students.
The C.S.F.I. measures and compares students on eight important
risk factors.

CSFI can also be used with CAPP Associates, ASAP
software. Paper/pencil versions of the
CSFI can be scanned with popular Scantron and NCS scanners on DOS or
Window's computers. You can create customizable student databases, score
paper pencil versions of the CSFI and have access to a complete assessment
and placement reporting system. Scan forms are available on the order
form for CSFI (under shipping and forms requests).
The CSFI is also available on computer delivered software.
You can deliver the CSFI on Window's computers with other popular tests
(like approved Math, English and ESL tests). CTA has it's own customizable
reporting database.
The CTA software (CAPP Test Administrator)
is the sole vendor of these tests and have an
exclusive contract to deliver these tests and questionnaires on computers.
